| SIC MOSH! Now that I have your attention, please check out this gut wrenching piece of techincal metal. On their debut Victory Records release Dead to Falls produces an amazing blend of carcass like riffs and vocals. Also inherent are the growls in the vein of Chris Barnes and breakdowns that will make your heart x-plod! Searing guitar rhythms interlaced with a relentless mix of double pedal and dark heavy bass lines makes up this entire album, but there is a catch. Imagine if you would combine this intricate mix of thrash and death metal with insane breakdowns . . .; well that's what they do. Imagine welding hardcore with metal in a way no other band has been able to do to date. Sick unsynthesized vocals throughout the entire album leave your ears bleeding and at the same time, wanting more. Lyrically deep, in that we can all relate to broken hearts, losing a close friend to the evils of the world, being screwed over and of course, wanting to stab a pen through someone's eye and watch the blood trickle down their face. If you want to find the only American born band that you will swear is from Sweden, check out Dead to Fall, you won't be dissapointed. To sum this album up best, please quote me in saying; "Dead to Fall's new album everything i touch falls to pieces is Metal you can kickbox to"! |
